Cantamar is a private quiet guarded community in Primo Tapia, Baja California, Mexico. You will feel very safe as you see the guards patroling up and down the community streets day and night. In the local area you will find many rustic but authentic places to eat, a gas station, a few mini markets, panaderia (bakery) where they sell fresh authentic Mexican sweet bread. You will have direct access to the beach for your morning exercise.
Primo Tapia is a good beginner or longboard wave. You will find lefts and right reef breaks. It is rocky, so bring your booties. Primo Tapia is best in fall and winter and ideal on a west swell. It can be good during any tide. Access is limited and surfers should be mindful of rocks and urchins in the water.
